The best advice I’ve ever received came from an old movie called “Joe Dirt”. It’s about a man that was lost as a child during a family trip. Joe went through hell trying to not only reconnect with the family he had lost, but also find his way in the world. During an interview on a radio show everyone was making fun of him. He was asked. “Joe how do you do it, how do you stay so optimistic? Joe said: “Life’s a garden ….. dig it. You gotta keep on keepin on”. It was instantly branded in my mind, and I have lived my life with that perspective. To be honest I don’t know who I’d be if it weren’t for Joe Dirt. Because it’s true no matter what happens in life, “you gotta keep on keepin on”
